We decided I would go over to her home and make a recipe that she makes, Broscht Soup
The thought was it would give her a feel for how the iPot works with out over whelming her with a new recipe and the iPot.
Ingredients:
1 tsp Butter
1 tsp Virgin Olive Oil
3 Beets small to Medium
3/4 of a Green Pepper
6 Stalks of Celery
1/3 Medium Onion
4 Carrots
1 Cube of Chicken Bullion Cube
1 tsp Garlic Powder or 2 Garlic Cloves
1/2 tsp Thyme
1 Can 796 ml of Dice Tomatoes
3 Small Cubed Potatoes
1 Small Bag of Coleslaw
5 Cups Water
1 Bunch Fresh Dill
1 Cup Tomato Juice
Mash Potatoes
Method:
iPot on Sauté Medium Add Butter, Olive Oil, Beets, Green Peppers, Celery, Onions & Carrots, some of the Dill & Garlic, Thyme. Stir and allow the mixture to soften and mix flavours.
Add the rest of the Dill, Can of Tomatoes, Chicken Bouillon Cube, Coleslaw, Tomato Juice, Water, Cubed Potatoes and Stir.
iPot Sauté High and Bring the Soup to a boil and then add Mash Potatoes.
