I am not a Tea Drinker but, I found out this last Summer that I like my homemade Oolong Ice Tea.
I first learned about Oolong Tea from Dr. Oz, a few years back. I went looking for it in the store, it took a bit of a search but I found it. Oolong Tea is inexpensive. One of the Benefits of Oolong Tea is Fat Burning. With so many Health Benefits who can't but help add it to a new Life Style Change, Yahoooo!!
Fun Food Facts
Dr. Oz Says,
"Oolong tea boosts metabolism, helping you burn fat faster. Its unique catechin (an antioxidant) and caffeine combination ignites your body’s fat-burning furnace and raises your metabolism for
up to 2 hours after drinking it. Oolong tea also contains polyphenols that help block fat-building enzymes. Studies have shown that drinking oolong tea has led to sustained weight loss and a smaller waist size. Be careful not to overload your tea with sugar, which will negate the benefits."
In addition to caffeine, oolong tea contains vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and beneficial tea polyphenol antioxidants.
The polyphenol antioxidants may help maintain normal blood sugar levels and decrease the risk of developing type 2 diabetes. However, the evidence is mixed and more research is needed.
It is amazing how many Health Benefits can come to this Tea.
